ESMB 4.6 P1/RS485in/RS232in/LAN/MODBUS/1142inst (1 meter)

The ESMB 4.6 P1 is a modification of the ESMB 4.1 controller, which is used for converting data from meters with a P1 interface (P1 interface standard DSMR P1, version 5.0.2) into MODBUS and EN 62056-31 (IEC 1142) protocols. It is a “two-in-one” reading controller for smart meters with a P1 interface, deployed by the Energy Distribution Operator.

Its purpose is to read the parameters provided by the meter through the P1 interface, convert them, and transmit the data via different interfaces, such as the current loop, RS485, and LAN, to various independent systems (customer commercial accounting and/or SCADA, and/or reactive power compensation systems). Each interface operates independently, so they do not interfere with each other.

The controller also has the ability to generate power profiles (P5, P15, P30, P60) based on the read meter data and transmit them via the MODBUS protocol. The ESMB 4.6 P1 has P1 and RS485 communication interfaces for meter reading and multiple interfaces for data output to external systems: current loop and/or RS485in, and/or RS485out, and Ethernet interface (depending on the modification).
